Ningxia Medical University

Ningxia Medical College , initially founded in 1958, was turned into the Medical Dept. of Ningxia University established in 1962 via the combination of former Ningxia Agriculture College , Ningxia Normal College and the medical college. However, in the year of 1972, it resumed its college status with Shanghai Railway Medical College moved to Yinchuan in the same year. In addition, in 2002, Ningxia Health School and Ningxia Nursing School got merged into the College.
