• Wuhan is the most populous city in Central China and also the capital of Hubai province with the population of 91, 00,000. It is the cradle of Yangtze and Han Rivers. The city name has been derived from the names of the three main areas of the city, 'WU' from Wuchang and 'HAN' from Hankou and Hanyang. These areas of the city which is across the rivers are linked by “the first bridge” as it is known.
