The University of Delhi, which is one of the leading institutes of higher education in India, will be providing various short-term courses for both Indians and Foreigners in the country. Candidates who want to take up these courses can register either for the January to April session or October to mid December session. A candidate desiring to pursue the Delhi University short term courses would have to enroll for at least three of the courses.

* Indian Literature
* Literature (translated into English) in an Indian Language (Bengali/ Oriya/ Kannada/ Tamil).
* Politics in India
* Indian Literature in English
* Introduction to Sanskrit Literature
* Introduction to Sanskrit Language
* Science and Technology in India
* India Environment: Past, Present and Future
* Imagining India: A Visual Perspective.

The course fee for each of the courses that would include instructions, courses material, local field visits etc. is Rs. 20,000 or equivalent US$. The course fee however would not include travel, boarding or lodging costs. The University would facilitate arrangements for boarding and lodging, but would not take any responsibility for the same. The primary objective of the Delhi University short-term courses is to provide insightful introduction to the different aspects of history and culture of India.

Such a lot of short term courses provided at University of Delhi, mostly with regard to Indian History, music and its Technologies. Please tell me with the duration of the courses.
Duration:
The courses of 10 weeks duration and roughly 40 hours of teaching will consist of classroom lectures, field visits, performances, demonstrations and guest lectures.

Each student will need to enroll in at least 3 of the courses offered.

The maximum number of courses for which a student can enroll is five (5).
