Getting admission to medical college is really a tough task and finishing medicine is really a challenging task. But now also the craze for medicine is not gone down..people want to do something better and the increasing technology and challenging task has made the study of medicine a real prestigious course.
Only if we get high marks in entrance exam like AIPMT, AFMC, AIIMS only we can dream about medicine. Students have to study hard and prepare well for these exams. the selection of the college and course is also very important. The admission depends on the no of seats available in the colleges and the cut off marks.

Medical College Admission and AIPMT Details

About AIPMT:
The Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi, would be conducting the All-India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Examination.

This entrance examination is being conducted exclusively for the 15% merit positions for the Medical/Dental Colleges of India as specified in the directive of the court.

AIPMT Exam Schedule: AIPMT consists of two parts Preliminary Exam and Final Exam.

Preliminary Exam:
Preliminary exam duration is for 3 hours. It would consist of one paper containing 200 objective type questions from Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany Zoology) to be answered on the specially designed machine-gradable sheet using Ball Point Pen only.

Final Exam: (Only for those who qualify in the Preliminary Examination)
The Final Examination would consist of two papers each of 2 hours duration. Paper-1 would contain questions from Physics and Chemistry and Paper-2 would contain questions from Biology (Botany Zoology).

The Final Examination will have conventional (non-objective) type of questions to be answered in the Answer Book supplied.
